Water leakage - need assistance!
Hi all,
I realized today that my water control thingy (where the meter is) is leaking drop by drop. Sorry i dont know what the correct term is.
Do I get the council to fix it or is it at your expense?
Thanks.

Where is it leaking from though? If its leaking from the control cock itself, have a look under the handle where you turn it off from, on the shaft (spindle) there should be a hexagonal nut (only about 3/4" of an inch or so under the handle) if its leaking from there you can try to nip it up just a tiny bit at a time, but if this isnt the problem or if its leaking from a different spot call your local water authority.

If is the meter itself or on the street side the water authority covers the costs.
