Cement render on blue board
Hey
I need to get two pieces of blue board cement rendered to match existing render which is on brick work.
I understand to make the cement render stick you need to tack on some expanded metal sheets.
Went to Bunnings today but they don't sell this? They only had corners/edges
Where can I buy expanded metal sheets?
What's the best way to nail/stick the sheet to the board?

What about the infamous "chicken wire" used in some plastering/rendering jobs?
I'm surprised you can't make it work with no wire, and a splashcoat of neat cement / Bondcrete, if you really want cement render. But is it possible (in your unique situation) to use an acrylic render for its slight flexibility, lower build thickness and assuredly good adhesion?
Regards, Adam.
