curved steel rafters
Just wondering if anyone can tell me if you can buy standard radius curved steel rafters, for a cabana project in my backyard. It would only be a small span of about 3m front to back, supporting a colorbond roof. I see these curved rafters in various carport kits and wonder where I might be able to source some. Or do they need to be specially ordered from a fabricator/steel supplier. Thanks.

Hi Scotty. I'm not sure exatly what you are referring to but Startco has curved purgola kits if that helps? http://www.stratco.com.au/products/verandahs/curved.asp
Not sure if they sell seperate components.

Hi Obbob, yes that's the sort of thing I am after, but just the curved steel rafters not the whole kit. Ideally I want to put a roof on thats higher at the front and curves down to the back (similar to this carport kit design but enclosed on 3 sides - http://www.allgal.com.au/client_images/41905.pdf) and curved steel sections look like an easy way to do it. The rest of the structure will be standard timber post and beam.
