Yep. We need a change. A younger person and new ideas.
John H lied and can't recall saying things or hearing things and wasn't informed. You know this happened. Tampa and other events.
Dishonest John. Only for the rich.
Hope the new PM won't lie. Go Kev.Don't pass them by! Be daring and caring!
Dampen their misery....sit with them and talk a little.
Buy them something to eat and a tram fare to a local mission.
I'm so lucky that I've somewhere to live and have family support.

Hope, apparently springs eternal!!
It'll be a cold day in hell when a politician, regardless of his/her persuasion, doesn't lie

Kev doesn't lie.
Labor's going to reduce greenhouse gasses by 60% by 2050.
He leaves out bits. Like how he's going to get re-elected 17 times between now and then to make it work.
Ohh,

Lies.
He also lied about GST. " It is not in the Liberal party future plan".
There must be other lies. Are they lies or did he just changed his mind without consulting us with a using referendum?
Good riddance to him and all the other rats jumping a sinking ship. Gawwd look at them go! They can't distance themselves quick enough. It's as if they are saying , " Here ya go Kev,..... all yours ".
BUT! Beware. M latham is a still a good friend of Kevy.
I'm am soo happy.
Cheers.Don't pass them by! Be daring and caring!

Personally, I think it's a great tragedy that Peter Costello has decided not to contest the leadership of the opposition.
It means that, sadly, we may never see a leadership team, either in opposition or government, of Abbott and Costello.

So. Lets see what we have here.
ah. Yes, this is a good plan. Let's castigate the long-time PM for the lies he might have told, and hold the new one up as a beautiful example of a non-lying PM.
Enjoy it while it lasts. Lying is a job specification for pollies. And no, this is not a Liberal vs Labor thing, they all do it.

Thank goodness Downer is not standing as leader for the Liberals - that would be a trip back into the wilderness for them.
Can't see Abbott being good for them either - he has all the compassion of a brown snake just coming out of hibernation.
I hope Rudd proves history wrong and does a great job and gets re-elected. AND if he does a crap job, I hope he is seen as such and there is a good alternative waiting next election.Cheers
