    Default Car number plate

John applied to the Munruben office of the
Motor Registration Branch to get a personalised
    number plate.

He found it to be terribly expensive so he
changed his name by deed poll to MSW472
    instead.

Does He Mean 'nsw482' Or Is It Too Subtle For Me?

Be buggard if I know what he means......I doubt if even Allan understands that one.

    Got it! 3 hours later.
His number plate was already MSW 472 and he changed his name to that!

    Humble apologies to Allan,

    Graham

Crap. I hate it when he betters me like that.

    Well done Allan.

I got it right off too, so it must not be an age thing.

Had a boss about 45 years ago (well before personalised plates), who had the same last 4 digits for his car number plate, his home telephone number, and his house address. Obviously well-connected, although probably not a good idea nowadays.

Alan, you gotta admit, they are a sharp lot here.
