Hi

mortars.I bought a special WESTOX quickpoint lime and cement based mortars not able to work nothing come out of nozzle at all
1) should i use plasticizers? if so where can i buy it?

I think you have wasted your money, I have seen vids of these "machines" and all they do is bog up the joint, they dont point by a long shot, the pointing comes after you have bogged up the joint, if you can scrape the excess bog out of the joint that is.
Some tips on pointing..

I took this picture at a client's house. The repointing was being done by Dwyer's using a caulking gun type setup, and struck with a small tool and pointing trowel. From memory, actual cement powder content was pretty minimal. While the application method seems a little surprising, it also worked well and is thoroughly cured and stuck!
Regards, Adam.
