Unfortunate names
Does anyone know of any unfortunate names? Tease anyone by turning their name into something stupid?, I think we are a twisted enough bunch to know some good ones! I was in the CMF many years ago with a Richard Head, calling him Dick was fine, just don't call him Dickhead! I also heard of a family who called their daughter Courtney...... surname? Salmon!
OK, go for it!

My only claims to fame are that I taught Glen Campbell singing, and one of my best readers was Paige Skippen.

I posted these on another, similar discussion some time ago:
Teressa Greene - a very odd girl, I think her parents were trying to encourage her to marry early. I knew one of her old boyfriends, and he was scarred for life
Peter Ennis, forever immortalized on my old school 'Honours' board as P Ennis.

Dunno about unfortunate, but rather funny.
A mate of mine here who comes from Chicago is called Bob.
His full name is Robert Roberts Jr.
That's what happens when you get Comedians for grandparents, and dad takes over the family business.
That's about as exciting as I get.
I did work with a fellow named Russell Drysdale though, painter he was.
Of buildings...
(I think his grandfather used to paint too. Not buildings.)
(If that last one doesn't make sense, Google it.)

True story...
Lightening does strike twice....
When my mother & father married....there best man was FRANK Starcivich..WW2 Pilot...ACE & decorated hero....& close family friend...so much so when my parents had their first-born...already decided they would name him/her....either.... Frank or Francis which ever....until...the day my brother was born....and the Doctor asked my mother what they would call HIM...my brother.....
"We're naming him Frank...after "Starcy"...she replied...
"Oh no you're not"...answer her Doctor " Have you really thought this one through?
Our surname was FOOTE (said just as FOOT) my brother name would have been called,
FRANK FOOTE
So...now Steven as he was then named.....married and his wife Merle....loved the name Anthony......until they were reminded of the same story.....
my newphew was nearly called "ANTHONY FOOTE" ....An toe knee foot...
Honest & trueDon't think you're playing it safe by walking in the middle of the road.....that's the surest way to get hit by traffic coming from both ways!
I'm passionate about woodwork.......making Sawdust again & loving it!

I could tell you a few. I was an insurance man years ago and thousands and thousands of names passed through my hands.
The most mild was a Mrs. Bastard. pronouced by the lady with a long ah on the last sylable.
A few names were also part of the anatomy, unrepeatable on the forum.woody U.K.
