Kind of off the subject a little but thought with the expertese here I might be able to get a good opinion. This summer I installed a deck in my backyard. I went with california redwood lumber and its very nice to look at. I used Perma-wood deck oil to project it but it still looks like its getting beat up by the sun, etc. Is there a better product that I could be using on it? I always liked the thick clearcoat look that I've seen on commercial properties but really don't know what that is or if it would for my area. I live in high desert climate - nevada. Any advice would be appeciated. thanks
