Question regarding pictures for Blogs
I have just started my own blog on my first Sturdee Cyclone bucket and found that I have to start a new blog to keep it going, because when I click on "Post a Comment" or "Go Advanced", the "Additional Options" does not have a "Manage Attachments" for adding pictures to the next comment.
So that leaves me with 2 options as far as I can tell.
One is to upload the pictures to a server or image site like Photobucket and paste the link in, or start another blog.
Am I missing something here or what?
I would have thought that you should be able to add pictures easily, so that you can keep that particular blog flowing seamlessly, rather then having to go chasing up another blog to keep the flow goingCheers

Okay either you fixed this or the pics in your blog are not really there and I've had too much to drink tonight.
Have a nice day - Cheers

Haven't fix it or you haven't had too much to drink WB
At this stage I have three blogs going. For example "First Sturdee cyclone from scratch" then "First Sturdee cyclone from scratch part 2" and finally "First Sturdee cyclone from scratch part 3".
What I want to do is continue posting pictures in "First Sturdee cyclone from scratch" so that it is a seamless page or blog all under the one heading rather then having 3 or more for when I continue on with the next bit

Okay, would help if I read your post properly, I was on the wrong track.
I don't think that there is any way other than what you have already mentioned to solve your problem. I can't see a problem with having the seperate blogs as they are at least consecutive within your blogs. In any case, get in touch with Stuart. He is a resident blog expert (at least he is now) and might now some extra trick.
Have a nice day - Cheers

Have a look at the blog now. Click here. Is this what you were after?
I have deleted part 2 & 3 for the moment but can restore if needed.

I can see only the first 5 pictures, the remaining nine are gone (were they there in the first place?)

Kev try hitting ctrl+F5. It is possible that your browser is using a cached version of the page not the new changed version.

Gidday DJ,
Firstly, think there is a bit of a confusion in terminology here. What you have there is still only 1 blog, with multiple entries (until they were temporarily deleted by Neil that is). Each entry is visible based on time-of-posting, with the newest entries at the top of the page. If you want to create an instruction set with multiple posts, and have it appear on the page in reading order, you have to write them in reverse (with the end of the article being the first post). This isn't strictly what a blog is for, but there is certainly no harm in using it that way. The forum works in the same manner, but there you have the option on whether you view it oldest or newest post first.
So where under your avatar it says "blog entries", that doesn't refer to how many blogs you have going (you only get one for your username), it refers to how many entries are in your blog. Mine (the Stu's Shed one) is only 1 blog, with (currently) 84 entries.
Anyway, hope that makes sense.
What's I've done now, is edit each of your blog entries, changing the date/time stamp for the posting, so the appear in the correct order. You can do this yourself in future when writing something like this - it is under the "additional options" - "miscellaneous options" where it says "Publish Status". It normally reads "Publish Now", but if you change it to "Publish On", it then gives you the option of choosing a new time-stamp.
As to the pictures in the 2nd and 3rd entries, you may need to redo them - I'm not sure where the photos are stored, and the links don't currently work for me there. You might need to repost the 2 entries (changing the time-stamp) and then we'll delete the old ones. It's a bit messy at the moment, but it's all a learning curve.
Let me know if I'm completely off-track here btw - I can easily reverse what I've done.
BTW, as far as your original query about adding additional pics to the one entry - not possible to have more than 5 in one post - you need to make additional entries if you have more photos, but by playing with the time-stamp, it can still look seamless.
Hope that helps.

I stuffed it.
Have pm'ed dj and hopefully will right it later on today. Fingers crossed.
If it works it should mean there may no longer be a need to have multiple entries for an ongoing thing.
Maybe.... Hopefully...... Oh please, oh please, oh please.

Good luck!Andy Mac
