Back to Huntington Beach
SWMBO and I went to Las Vegas for the Remodeling convention. A couple of the sessions on running a business were interesting but not really worth the trip. We both had a lot of fun. I lost about $8 but had a dozen drinks over three evenings. SWMBO spent about $200 while I was in the convention and earned enough points to pay for two dinners. (Net loss about $125.)
We placed a friendly wager on our favourite in the NASCAR race at Charlotte (Lowes Motor Speedway) and he won at 5 to one odds. So the trip was moderately sucessful and only cost fuel and hotel room.
AND SWMBO is in a much better mood now.
