second floor
I am going to have a go at sheeting a floor on joist at 400mm center have looked around for particle board, plywood etc. The total area is 87sqm What would be the best floor board sheeting for a wooden floor to go on to the area of the floor will house bed, lounge etc .
The design is for 18mm thick can the size of the wooden floor be used in the overall size ie 8mm floor 10mm board ? I am open to all suggestions lack of money stop me from getting a builder for it.Thank you

Why not just use 19mm t&g ? 10mm ply will be too thin as a substrate.

The joist would normally be at 450mm centres, if you use 400mm all teh standard sheet sizes will end off a joist when you lay them.
