    Default Shredder paper in the compost

    Is OK to put paper from a shredder in the compost? I newspaper is OK but wonder if white printing paper has plastics in it.

    as long as it is not the shiny type of paper (photo?) it should be OK.

    With nay good compost it is about balance, whether it is grass clippings, newspaper or food scraps. I often put bits of paper, cardboard etc to balance out my compost. I would place layers of the paper, then other material, then a nother layer. Should be fine.
