Azanmig huh? yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt!

    It reads even easier if you read it quickley!

    What you need to remember is that YOU are already a good reader. The mixed up words make little sense to a beginning reader and cannot be used as a basis for a reading program.

    .. and also on a serious note, while I never criticise others on their ability to spell, there is a growing movement which holds that correct spelling isn't important anyway.

    Exactly right. How spelling has changed even in our lifetimes! And grammar as well. Real scholars of English (and I'm not one) would recognise the evolutionary nature of spelling in English throughout the centuries. It's like water finding the easiest course.

    Must admit I am disappointed when Forumites get picked up on a typo or a difficult word.

    Thats very good, though I agree with Carry. I like the way it lights up under the the spell checker, adds a bit of colour to the page
