Slate roof
Hi all,
We've just bought a 1940 Victorian house with a slate roof. I wanted to walk on the roof to repaint the 2 chimneys. Can I safely walk on the roof like the tile roof? Can I break anything? What should I look out for? Any hints/tips would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Andy

Hire a cherry picker, I bet it works out cheaper than repairing the roof.
