    Default How to get out of a ticket Kiwi style

    This is getting a bit old now but i think it is a brilliant piece of letter writing
    Sorry about the multiple files. I only have this in .pdf and i had to split it up to fit the size restrictions.

    Bewdiful!
    Years ago I worked with a Kiwi engineer who had worked for a while in Egypt. When he was pulled up for speeding one night, he pulled out his Egyptian licence and talked gobbledegook, pretending not to understand the cop, until the cop gave up in disgust and sent him on his way. Probably would have been arrested as a terrorist suspect these days.

    Do you refer to the population generally, Sir, or the Highway Patrol? I believe the answer is No & No because our politicians don't wish anyone to feel they are a failure. Thus, over here, cutting on the wrong side of the line or whacking the tenon off at the knees are not errors.... . Finding one has an IQ somewhere under the left hand tail would be demoralising and depressing, perhaps, and thus to be avoided.
