I have just started a platter in sheoak and was thinking of finishing it with walnut oil.
I`ve used it on jarrah with good effect before but this is my first try with sheoak,has anyone tried this before and will it work??. I dont want to waste a good bit of wood if it dosn`t.(i`ve tryed it on a small peice of scrap and it`s a bit hard to tell if it looks good or not.)
