finish
I am about to lacquer a table, which will be undercover on a verandah, but will get some sun and rain. The table is Oregon and has been stained. I am about to lacquer it with Wattyly Marine varnish.
My question is, as I do not like the high gloss finish, is there some other finish for outside that is durable and similar to a semi gloss in appearance.
or if not is there some way I may be able to take off the gloss from the Marine varnish. Thanks for your time.whale oil beef hooked

Try Intergrain DWD or Ultraclear.
Do or do not.....
Just try on a piece of scrap timber first.
