    Default 1,000th Post

For my 1,000th post to this commendable forum I wanted to post someting special. Something unique. Someting memorable. Something, perhaps, to do with woodworking.

But then I thought, why spoil a good thing by breaking with precedent?

So, having polished off a fine Dingo's breakfast, I think I'll retire to the shed and stuff up my latest project.
    Cheers,

    Bob

Are you the first Yankee to pass 1000 ?

We've usually been able to get rid of all the others well before this milestone.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Actually, I thing perhaps so. I am difficult to kill. Sort of like a lawn weed.

I am the Seppo Drop Bear.

Maybe we should talk you into rewiring your shed then - I read elsewhere on here that it's not only lethal but legal in America

Murray99 already tried that. But I caught him out and dodged the bullet. Yes it is both legal and lethal. It helps to have sparky friends. The last new power point I had installed cost me $20 US. Eat your heart out.

But the question is what happens when you reach 10,000 and you're not a mod?

Do you reach Nirvanna, disappear up your own fundament or what?

Enquiring minds would like to know.

    Craig,

When I near 10K I will BE a mod, the first Seppo mod on this beautiful Forum. And then, I will cut some blokes off at the knees. (But not you, of course. )

I have been accused of disappearing up my own fundament by many before. Or was it just peering there? I must think.
    Cheers,

    Bob

I was thinking more about my own cumulative total and what a shame it is that I have squandered most of them on arguing about silly things and not more lofty matters...
