Man, not wearing a seat-belt had an accident with his car, hit a tree travelling at 60 miles an hour, went crashing through the windscreen and was thrown some 75 meters up the road.
Local, cop came along and charged him with leaving the scene of an accident.

I'm still wondering just how much of the 75m he was thrown. You did say he was only thrown some of it?

Is it like the bloke who fell out of a 30m pine and didn't get a scratch? (He'd only climbed to the bottom branch...)

Or the bloke who fell 30m from a bridge and didn't get a scratch. Unfortunately, the next 10m, to the ground, made a mess of him.
