Decades ago, Joe the Gadget Man (Sydney TV personality) used to flog a bottle cutting rig that would let you turn old bottles into glasses, goblets, vases etc. Does anyone know if they are still available.

I reckon a small cutting disk used at the goblet base of a wine glass and some of that silicon used to make aquariums and you could make up a nice party set for the next BBQ.

    Or learn glass blowing.
