    Default Ants like silcone?!

    Anyone here know why ants have suddenly taken a liking to the fresh silicone in my new kitchen and not so fresh (few months old) silicone in the bathroom?

    Yikes, what sort, what brand? (Silicone, not the ants)
    I have been using Bostick No More Gaps to block holes that they were coming through into the kitchen.
    So far it has stopped them but they may be just eating their way through.

    Cliff - silicone in the kitchen is white Fuller Sanitary Silicone 770.

    Not sure what was used in the bathroom (silicone was put in by the tiler). The ants have shown no interest in the latex acrylic stuff used elsewhere in the kitchen.

    I've encountered the same problem when trying to stop ants from coming into our unit, I haven't tried to stop them coming into our house yet as I'm going to redo our kitchen soon. Why do it twice I ask?
