    Default Well maybe a little

Guess who got to teach his first woodwork class today?

Ok so I was sitting in cos the woodwork teacher was away at a meeting but had the best time. The kids were so motivated and they set about doing their assigned work with no problems at all.

Even gave them some hints and pointed out better ways. Eg they had a vice but tried to saw by just holding the wood.

Better behaved than my electonics boys.

They were doing a floor frame, in order to cut a half lap they had it in the vice with about 4 ft above the vice. One then held it while the other cut, looked so dangerous with the wood moving and the saw close to the holder face. Suggested they cut sideways in the vice but they couldn't see it being better. Figured I'd ask the teacher how he told them to do it first before I but in.
