This side to the sun......
We've just roofed our new deck (not really impressive enuff for pics) and after screwing down the first two pieces of laserlite, we discovered the tiny print......"this side to sun" on the wrong side.
To turn them over would mean the holes were now in the troughs instead of the ridges and a short job would become longer. For the moment we've left them but we're wondering....
What's wrong with having laserlite upside down? What will happen?

You'll probably find it has a UV protective coating on one side to stop the break down of the plastic.
I hope you aren't covering your whole deck with Laserlite because you will die from heat exhaustion in the summer time and you will find it very hot even in the winter.
When I was with Spanline we used to go around replacing Laserlite with metal roofing.

We partly covered an old factory that we converted in to units with an undercover carpark, and the laserlite magnified the sun on relatively cool days so that the bitumen underneath melted!

Grrrrrrreat!
The whole deck is in laserlight but it's a very shaded east facing deck. Protected in the mornings by a massive elm and by the house itself in the afternoons. There's really only a couple of hours around 1 o'clock that it gets full sun. Hmmm, Maybe I better turn those two sheets over.
