    Default Mortar crumbling

    Hi

I have a few places ,mostly in the shed (garage) where the mortar is crumbling, 50cm away it's rock solid ..
1-Is there anything that can be done ?
2-If not, is there anything I can paint/spray over that area to stop the mortar crumbling away ?

    Thanks

    Nic

From the sounds of it, the brickwork is damp and thats why its crumbling.
    Pics would help.

    Yep, Al
There is a leaking gutter above both spots, is there anything that can be done apart from fixing the gutter ?

    Thanks

The only thing I would do apart from fixing the gutter is to re-point ( fill up the joints) the affected are.
