Default toilet installation - flushing problem??

    Hi all
the plumber/builder yesterday installed our toilet (Aquadux Dux Jasmine model) and it seems to not flush properly? i have to basically hold the flush button, full or half flush, for like 3-5seconds before it would fully flush else theres not enough flow to remove all the waste. Does anyone know what might be wrong? or if there is a problem?
    thanks in advance

you will find that the pin in the cistern is set too low ,ring the manufacturer for directions
( see helpful comments ,not wasting time being or trying to be funny with a serious concern)

thanks for the 2 helpful posts

I spoke to the people who sold me the toilet, the distributor of aquadux at oakleigh and the plumber who did the job and they all said the same thing that its a feature of the toilet? saying that it some kinda economical water saving feature or something. If you hold onto it for a while (3seconds or so) it will do the full flush or half flush which ever you pressed but you can let go mid way if you think that was enough to flush the waste. I dunno if they all saying this to save their hide and reputation or the truth! but i guess i'll check the cistern pin if it starts to annoy me

We had the same problem after taking advantage of Sydney Water's $22 water saving initiative where they send a plumber out to fix your taps, shower and toilet to use less water. He modified the cistern to do just that. That mod was removed very soon after he left.
