Ceresine Wax supply
Hi, I am looking to purchase in small quantities (say up to 1kg) ceresine wax to make furniture wax polish.
Does anybody know where I can buy this product.
Thanks.

Hi Angelika
Ceresine wax is almost unobtainable in Australia. You might try Bronson & Jacobs, I think they have a factory in N.S.W. (Yellow Pages job). They might sell you a small amount. Your alternative is to use Ozokerite Wax which is a slightly less refined version of ceresine both of which are basically higher refined versions of paraffin.
Unfortunately if you can get either of these they are usually only sold in minimun 25kg lots.
It is far easier to purchase a proprietry wax than to make your own and in most instances the cost factor is almost the same. In all instances it is safer to buy a pre-made wax.
We manufacture what I believe to be the best paste wax on the market (Traditional Wax). It is not sticky, is easy to apply and buff to a bright shine (in all weathers), it does not show finger marks and will not attract dust. What more could you ask for? Ok! It is also non toxic.

Hope this helps a little.

Meant to answer this a while ago but got slightly side tracked and then forgot. Sorry.
We do keep supplies of both waxes but they are not for slae they are spoken for in all we produce. The ceresine, when I can get it is jealously guarded and every gram acounted for.
