    Default Baths

    Just a quick question,

Why do i see so many baths buit into the wall that dont have a shower?
Is it just a space thing, Is it wrong to not to have it built into the wall.

    Thx Willy

You could just as easily have a shelf around the bath but you'd be relying a lot more on the silicone joints around the bath. It's obviously better from a waterproofing point of view to have the wall sheets go down over the bath lip, and to have the sheets go up under the lip on the outside of the bath.
You could always just have an old fashioned freestanding claws foot bath though.
