Clocks - Did You Remember?
To put them forward, or was it just us in Victoria?. There will be a few maintenance people around the country earning some extra cash penalty rates) having to reset the timers on the boilers, security systems etc.

If God had meant for us to have an extra hour.......................
There go the bloody curtains again.
I recall when we had some staff members who always turned up late for a shift because they forgot, but when the clock went the other way their memories were just fineStupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Actually I fail to see the logic of daylight saving during the summer but would prefer to see it during the winter months where it would make sense.
But politicians have never understood something sensible.

Daylight savings? I have enough problems remembering what year it is, let alone effing around with changing hours.
(In my head 'tis still '81; every year since then has been a disappointment.
)
This year I finally managed to remember to reset the clocks. Unfortunately, it seems someone else made a pre-emptive change the day before... so for a while there I was even more out of synch with the rest of the world than usual!
Nothing new there, I guess.
Bloody guvmints!

The only thing I hate about daylight saving is the fact I got a big corner unit that has a clock in it with only rear access to change the time so either I need to put it on a mobile base or the mongrel thing is going to be an hour behind for six months a year!!!!!
