Tipuana Tipu or Rosewood tree
Hi
We have a very large Tipuana tree which we need to remove. Anyone interested in timber from this type of tree? Or other suggestions regarding an affordable means to remove the tree?
Thanks

I suggest that you repost this message in a more wood-related section of the forum, such as "General Woodwork" instead of the "Home Renovation" section. Much wider audience.
Wouldn't hurt to change the heading to something like "Free wood: Rosewood Tree (Tipuana)" either.

You could try a bloke called Mark Anderson from Brizzy mulch and chip. Office number is 3822 5335 or mob 0419 790 676. I have to get him over to cut the one out in our yard here.
Dave,
hug the tree before you start the chainsaw.
