Bunnings does Good!!
On Sunday, the Community Day-care that my little boy goes to a couple of times a week had a sausage sizzle out the front of Bunnings. I was stunned at how much Bunnings helps out.
I thought that the Daycare would have to organise BBQ's, gas, tables etc but Bunnings did the lot. All we had to take was the food and drinks. We arrived at 8am to setup and the staff at Bunnies had the BBQ setup (custom made for Bunnies for the Sausage sizzles) with tables, ice boxes for the drinks and even facilities for hand-washing. The group did have to clean everything, but my shift was over by then.
I don't know yet how much money was made but I know that there were 4 large esky's of sausages and 6 shopping bags of onions cooked. (@ $1.50 for a sausage & onion on bread and the same for a can of drink)
Thank you to Bunnings for this and will be back next year for another one!Have a nice day - Cheers

Have to agree
We do the same thing for our Scout troop, they allocate the dates at the beginning of the year I think, it is good and we raised over $600 at the last one at the Scooterorium in Cranbourne.
The negative is the stench of snag on your clothes and the loss of desire for a snag for the next three months.
We arrive with 600 snags and the correct amount of bread, cost about 50c each to us, sell for $1.50 and the scouts are subsidised a bit more for the $1100 a head Jamboree in the New Year.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Isn't it ironic that we have a 'Bunnings Does Good' thread and it's got nothing to do with hardware or tools
