Acer Win XP Pro - free to good home

Hi

I recently bought a computer at auction which came with a copy of WIN XP pro for Acer computers only. The business onselling their computers obviously held on to the rights for their previously owned software and passed the new stuff on.. unfortunately the old ones were DELL:eek: so I am stuck with my old copy of 98, 4 disks of XP and a little booklet the later two totally worthless to me.. so if anyone out there with an ACER computer is wanting to upgrade let me know and we can arrange getting them to you.

please make sure that your system is suited to xp though..

It is doubtful that the disk can be used to upgrade. The A$$ H**** in Redmond make sure of that. It is necessary to re-partition the disk and then install the XP as new.
