It's just tempting fate too much ...
A set of pictures says it all.
It all cleaned up ok - the CFP was 2 weeks old, the pink paint was only fresh and our finger nails are stong ...
And the message from this ?
You should always block a door from cats, espcially after you paint a bit of concrete pink, near newly coated floor boards. It's just tempting fate too much.

PS - If your thoughts for the cat (her name is Fudge by the way) are tooooo devious to publically mention, send me a PM - I will try to follow your requests ...

I was about to vote for death to cats, however despite the title of this thread, there seems no option for capital punishment.
I don't think they're cute and cuddly, I think they're psychopathic destroyers of native wildlife, fit only to grace Wongo's dinner table.
Could you include a 'shoot it' option?Bodgy

Fudge says No to Capital Punishment
Fudge does not go outside.
We live near some bush, and we wouldn't let her hurt any wildlife. However, if she goes near wet paint again ....

Who modified the Poll
I was just wondering who (who must have access to the foruma at an advance level) added the "kill the cat option "?
I wish to have that option removed.
Would the person who added please remove it.
I am quite surprised to see this sort of action.
Please note the post from Bodgy at 7.21 that suggested this.
And then one post later it appears.
All of my options began with "The Cat Should .." I write things like that and I would not have changed the style.
I assume this will be corrected ASAP.

!!
I gotta admit that I'd select the option in question... but I am surprised that a moderator (I doubt 'tis a higher up) has changed a poll w/out being requested to by the author!
Or has Friday rolled around early this week and I'm missing yet another "in" joke of usual standard?

How can you have a poll titled 'Should the cat be killed' without an option for same????
Makes a nonsense.

Your poll question was " Should the cat live ? " .
None of your options provided for a proper negative response to your question like " The Cat should not live it should either be killed or hanged or given to Wongo for his chinese cooking.
The secret poll modifyer did you and the board a great service rectifying such glaring omission.
Peter.
BTW I have now voted.

Surprised
Well I'm surprised - it's not about the cat ...
No-one asked about modifying the Poll - I gladly submitted the thread and Poll, in good faith, and as a little bit of humour. That's why I've asked for the poll to be re-established to it's original form.
I think the cat dislikers are taking their place a little too seriously here. I'm no big cat fan, I probably wouldn't have one except they have been part of my wifes life. And as she is not very well, with a chronic illness, I think she has the right to enjoy her furry friends.
And I don't mind the job of feeding, fixing the litter etc because if it brings my wife a little happiness to have the cats around...
As I mentioned earlier, the cats don't go outside.
How many people here have a dog ? Is that suddenly an issue if someone posts something funny about them ?
Anyway, I respect everyones opinion, and I really enjoy this forum.
I hope everyone here can respect our situation and appreciate the role of a pet (for example a dog or a cat or a bird etc).
