    Default Temperature Switch

I want to build a dehumidifier kiln like the roughy in the current woodworker magazine. I would like to wire in a temeperature cutout to prevent overheating.

Looking for advice on which specific switch (and supplier) to use.
I have an electronics background so the jobs well within my expertise.

Hi Bob...what like a pyrometer and relay...

    question

I have a 3 foot long glass fusing kiln that's computer controlled the only problem is of the bars that holds the elements has broken.. I may fix it and use it for timber... the kiln can be vented and hold any temperature from as low as 40c for several days if required.. would it be of any use?

Sounds like it would work but you would need to fit a circulation fan.
