Downlights falling out!
I have just installed new donwlights. They are the ones held in with two springs on either side.
Question...any tips on getting them to hold firm in the ceiling and not drop an edge. The springs appear to have heaps of tension BUT not enough to hold!

Sounds like the clips might be made for a thicker ceiling. Can you cut some packers and place them on top of the ceiling before you refit the lights?

Are you sure the springs are the right way round? I have installed over 40 of the 70mm ones in our places with no dramas.
