Number five across, large migratory bird, five letters, starts with 'G'...
And to outline mine, my belt sander stopped suddenly and refused to start again. Took it to a tool repair place where it worked perfectly. The tech was grinning and was aware of a power failure in the area, I wasn't.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Picture this december 29 half hour till beer o'clock ripping last peice of decking 600mm long down the middle, stopped cut 100mm from end supported timber in the middle on saw horse held the timber BEHIND horse with left hand (you know whats coming) KICK BACK thumb off at the joint. Three days in gold coast hospital, micro sergery out on new years eve, back to work tommorow with none bending thumb and bruised ego. I grew up with power tools in my hand should have known better. lesson learnt the hard way. Tip: must have accident insurance I would be stuffed with out it. given me good time on my lathe though.
