    Talking Hatched today.

He arrived at 3:49 today. 3410gm/7.5 lbs and very healthy, even if he really didn't want to arrive...

No name as yet, but there are a couple in the works.

Mum is doing pretty well too, aside from the obvious things. I was a tad worried tonight, but all is well.

Dad (me) is still ticking, but I sure as heck don't know how after last night's false alarm.

The pains started yesterday about lunchtime, I was there during the worst of it last night. We were expecting he might arrive last night, but he didn't think that was such a great idea and the staff agreed with him. Started again today, and he popped out with a little presuasion. Screamed for about 10 minutes while he got cleaned up, and hasn't made too much noise since then.

He is also the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life.

(While the pic is not that great (he's about 20 minutes old), he is a very good looking little man, and that's not me talking.

With that, good night. I need some sleep.

    Thumbs up Congratulations

    Schtoo,
Congratulations & welcome to the roller coaster ride - you will now start to experience all the highs & lows of parenthood.

I can still remember the high I was on after the birth of my first 17 years ago.

Spend time with them while they are little, they grow up very quickly.

Well done Schtoo, Mrs Schtoo and Welcome to Schtootwo!

My son is 2 and a half now and loves spending time with his Dad in the shed. How's that - SWMBO wants a break from the little fella and SENDS me to the shed with him. I hope you get the same good luck!!
    Cheers

    Congrats Schtoo, MrsSchtoo and Babyschtoo.

    Enjoy the quiet now mate.

I've got number three en route and I can't wait. The current two are playing tag team wake ups at the moment

They are still the loves of my life and I wouldn't give em up for anything. Enjoy every minute because before you know it they'll be in your wallet and asking to borrow the car.
