Mexicans is a deragatory term used mainly by ignorant New South Welshpersons to describe the much superior Victorian population who live south of the Murray River which is the border between the two states.
It's rather ironic that a State in which fireworks have been banned for several years can put on such a great display.
Woody. Hope you enjoy your trip to the colony. I look forward to your comments when you return to Paignton, or perhaps you may be able to access a computer and post a few whilst you are here.Jack the Lad.

You're kidding. By what I seen on the box, it was pathetic just a few white sparklers going off.

It's a malicious rumour that we migrate north during the winter to escape atrocious weather in Godzown. We actually come in our caravans to inject some much needed wealth into the economy of the poorer state (N.S.W.) and I have yet to see any shopkeeper, caravan park operator or petrol station person knocking back the dollars.
Of course we go further north to Qld. to inspect the magnificent roads and infrastructure provided to that state by us southerners and our taxes a disproportional amont of which finds it's way into the northern coffers, thanks to the schemes and plans put in place by the late Jo.(Don't you worry about that!)
That should start something!!!
