Default What can you get for $250

On another thread or two, involving the construction of the PDRacer, I made a comment that I was building two boats for less than the price of an iPod.

Then I discovered that the iPod Nano was pretty much the price of one boat ($250.00)

So I started thinking, (then my ears started to bleed), what else can one get for $250.00?

    A PDRacer

Three months worth of Broadband Internet

    An iPod Nano

    A Sydney Harbour Bridge Walk

Half a ticket to the Rolling Stones Concert

    ......

So what else could I have wasted my money on instead of an 8 foot high tech racing boat??

    Cheers,

    P

I thought the sides were only about 18" high on those boats

Seriously though, they look like a good project, I wonder if our scouts might be interested.

    Peter,

You are being ripped off if you are paying $83/month for broadband; I get mine for $49.95 with unlimited downloads and no minimum period from Eftel.
