Mum walks into daughters room, there is daughter going for it with a vibrator... Mum is aghast....

Her daughter tells her "Well I'm not getting married so this as close to a husband as I am getting, so leave me alone!" ... Mum departs.

Dad walks in to the cellar a couple of days later to find the same thing. When he asks what the hell is going on daughter dearest tells him that this is the closest she's getting to a hubby so he had better get used to it and leave her alone! He does...
