We need more info, what sort of wood did they turn this super bowl from and what finish?

The black and gold men? Are they over in Richmond somewhere?

oh, gridiron,..... Wish I new more about it, to give you a decent conversation.... but good to hear your happy.

But why are your footballers padded up so heavily ? I mean, footballers over here must hit each other just as hard as they do in the US, but the most they bother about is small head and mouth guards... (just stirring)

It's not nice to pick on 9Fingers and his typing error, Benny.

What he meant is that he got a super bowling trophy. In America, the word 'super' can mean 'really good'.
    eg
"Hi Benny! How are you today?"
    "Super, Felder! Thanks for asking!"

'The Men in Black & Gold' is clearly the name of his ten pin bowling team.
Not sure about the reference to the Steelers, though......maybe still talking about the merged Illawarra Rugby League team??? What's that got to do with bowling??

Good on you, 9Fingers! I am happy for you and your ten pin bowling successes.

Ok that makes sense now. Also it would be good to see how you turn your balls? Nice sized lathe then use forstners to cut the finger holes?

Thats probably the Steelers reference, if you have a nice turned ball everyone tries to steal it?

Yeah, but how many footy players here are nick-named "The Refrigerator"?
When one of those 165 kg 'athletes' hits you, there is no doubt that you have been hit. This was my job back in the day...dismembering quarterbacks. with extreme prejudice.

Well done, i bet ur on the way to being very pizzed at the moment .. good on yu and take no notice of the bald bloke i dont... I watched it and realy enjoyed it, except the 3 clowns that our own tv network SBS had that kept interupting the yankie comentry with their own dribble all the way through the game:mad: 9fingers, their was one thing that puzzled me. the Seattle coach kept putting a sheet up over his mouth every time he issued instructions into his mik. was that for a) to muffle the noise of the crowd so the instructions were clear. or b) which might sound silly but to stop someone in the crowd with binoculars lip reading his instructions and relaying them to the Steelers:confused: and the Stones were great. It was nice to have the morning/arvo of work and sink a few beers and watch it. very enjoyable

I'm cranky that I finished work with 3 minutes to go in the game . Half the fun is watching the commercials (not shown on our broadcasts). Oh well, there's always next year.

Now, where'd that Felder get to with his rugby?
