Mitre engineered flooring
I am making some bench's out of engineered flooring.
I want to do a return @40mm for the edge that can be seen. Should I just do a mitre, tape glue or should I use a lock mitre bit to get more surface area and make it easier for the longer pieces.
I have used a lock mitre bit on solid wood and I rate it, but this is engineered wood, so think plywood.
Once the return is fitted I am going to glue the flooring down on some ply sheet so the edge of the ply sheet will offer some support to the return.

nice to simplify an operation. thanks
Further to that, any recommendations for the Glue? Glue for the mitre (titebond 3) and the flooring to sheet (some sort of expanding poly urethane?).
Thanks

I don't have many clamps, but I do have a thick bench that I hand plane flat and a bunch of old gym weights!
Thanks for the advice. I'll go out and get 4l of selleys interior PVA. Seems reasonable in price. There is cheaper PVA but they have mixed reviews, so unsure.
