First wardrobe restoration project (amateur) - advice wanted!
I'm looking some advice for refinishing an old timber (silky oak?) wardrobe for our master bedroom. I love this wardrobe but strongly dislike the honey/golden stain so was hoping to strip it back to bare and possibly finish it with a wax to keep the light natural wood colour. A big question I have is about the veneer inserts in the doors and side of the piece (possibly the top as well I haven't checked). Sorry if this is redundant, I did search the forum for answers, but what would be the best way to strip it back without damaging the timber?
