Some days are diamonds...
Had to share this one.
Today I won the last badge draw at my club for the year.
$3800 - you beauty!
The draw accumulates at $100/week so it was quite a jackpot.
I've never won anything in my life before either.
So whaddya reckon I should do with it?
What was the nice Mr Nielsen's address again?

you could knock out a wall and dig some holes under the house to increase the size of your w/s for that much cash...

Craig,
Download the price list and put it into Excel to make an informed decision.
You should be able to get about 6 or 7 planes.
Congratulations, it is good to hear of a prize going to someone who won't be wasting it away.- Wood Borer

Good on ya mate!
My advice, use a small portion for grovel money for SWMBO and then do what you like with the rest.

You can buy me a beer next week!!
Nice one. You could always use some more planes, I'm sure. Or maybe a cube of some nice timber."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

Funnily enough, I'd arranged to take delivery of 0.25 of a cube of cedar this arvo via Greg Ward.
So that's $500 spent.
The missus is going Christmas shopping tonight so I've told her to buy herself something nice.
Zed,
Unfortunately, it's not enough to cover a reno

I used to frequent a local bowling club on the badge draws, went away on holidays for one week and when do you figure my number was drawn  was over $3000 too.
Congrats on your win, hope you find something nice to get with itBrett

Good on you Craig!
Just thinking about all the lovely goodies you could get with that $3k (after the timber purchase, and a sweetener for SWMBO )
Happy Hols mate!

Well done Craig.
I've never won a chook in a pub raffle!
