Door hinge routing templates and jigs
It looks like I may have a fair bit of door installation work coming my way. I was thinking of buying a hinge routing template jig to make things go faster. There are several different types, from the three hinge door-length templates to the smaller single hinge ones. I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation for one type or another, or any particular brand that is a stand-out jig? This is for reno type work, so I won't be setting up to do house after house of the same type door. Lengths, widths, thicknesses will vary, as will the hinge size.

Be interesting to see if a good one is recommended but I just make a jig out of timber and use a bearing router bit and finish the corners with a corner chisel punch
A self centering drill bit is handy for the pilot holes too.

Same here. I just made my own to fit the hinges we used. Easy
