Default Danish oil - Stirred not shaken????

    Ok, I've searched Mr Google.
My tin of Danish oil says to stir at start and during application but do not shake???
Is that to reduce bubbles or does shaking not mix ingredients sufficiently??
    Just curious?
    Thanks in advance

Lyle, I think it is to do with the bubbles.
