gungadin
thanks for accepting me into your group,i have only just started into woodworking(work, family commitments were a priority before)i have a few machines, a 15in carbatec thicknesser and hobby saw bench and triton router table. My latest purchase is a old school planer, a behrens 6in.My question is ,i thought i would replace/ sharpen the old knives,it seems you can no longer get imperial HSS(dimensions are 1/8 in thick x6in long, not sure of the width as mine are now only 14mm wide) does anyone have one of these machines and what have you done ? cheers

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum .....
There are quite a few members in Perth and across West.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork..
Cheers crowie
