Hello from Tassie
Hi everyone. Very new to woodworking - took on a challenge to build a cradle for our little one due in March. First ever project with a lot of hand holding (not literally) from the blokes at the Longford men's shed . Look forward to learning a thing or two from you all. Thanks for having me.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Julian"....
There are quite a stack members in & around Tassie and across the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork and congratulations on the new arrival very soon.....
Cheers crowie
PS - I spy a rocking horse in the back of your shed,

Thanks for the warm welcome all. Crowie nice spotting but unfortunately that belongs to one of the other shed members and unfortunately this is not my shed haha. All I achieved was to chisel my bleeding thumb today lol. Will post some work in progress (the cradle not my thumb) and built notes soon! Thanks again
