Clear shellac & aniliene dyes.
I want to make some tinters using U-Beauy clear shellac & anilene dyes as suggested in the Polishers' Hanbook. No recipes are given.
I'm willing to experiment but this could lead to horrific wastes of time & good products.
Can anyone post a step by step process that works?
Do I dissolve the dye in EtOH & add to shellac?
Can I brush or rub it on or must I spray?
TIA
