Thornley bench saw and planer combination
Hi all,
I am looking at selling my late father's Thornley saw and planer that dates back to the late 1940s, I believe.
It is in perfect working order and has always been undercover in the shed since he bought it new way back then.
I would appreciate some indication of its value.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,
What a cracker of a machine!
I'll say up front that I don't like to do valuations, unless I have the money to offer
Looks like it would do real good work. Is the motor 415v / 3 phase? Limits it to a smaller market, ie, those that have that supply or are prepared to do conversions.
Any chance you could take more close-up photos of the sliding mitre fence? Impressive.
I think I can find catalogue photos of it and the machine...
Good luck and good on you for offering it. Deserves a good home.
cheers,
