    Default Hello from Melbourne.

Thought I'd say hello since I've lurked for a while

I've a very new woodworker who has pottered about making a few pictures frames and baby gates - always dreaming of bigger things like pergolas, swings, huge planter boxes though!

I'm presently saving up the pennies to get a decent table saw - I've found the 2nd hand Ryobi gear just too scary to use.

Welcome Scarlton. I hope you reach your dreams with those projects and also the acquisition of a decent tablesaw. The non portable types usually have a different drive system on them so run much quieter and won't feel as scary.
We look forward to seeing your endeavours.

Welcome Scarlton, managed to get a 2nd hand Makita 1650w table saw on gum tree for not much a few years ago and am really happy with it, used table saws of various come up regularly on all of the usual sites so keep an eye out on them.

    Cheers,

    Rudy
